Where did you get that Ultrik Intercooler???

 

 

They were sold by Mini mania a few years ago.
The ultrik charge cooler comprised of a W2A intercooler with 2 laminova cores inside, 2 rads and a johnsons pump.
I think they retailed over £800 as a kit over 4 years ago, they never sold well so I think they dropped them. Which is a shame as it was ahead of its time.
I really like the design and if I could get my hands on one I would.

 

I think about everyone new/thought it would end up this way...( Take a look at the posts on the first page ) Not that everyone thinks they have the best looking MINI, some do though, but MINI people are not conceited people for the most part. We don't mind sharing info about anything on our cars, What we did, how we did it, and why or how was the out come etc etc.. You won't find that with MOST other car clubs/people. They get real secreative about what they did and how they did it. Trying to stay one up on everybody. Mini people put it out there for who ever wants to try to take it to the next level.. We all love our cars and want to share it when threads like this one come along. It's the best way for me to see other peoples cars without having to go to everyones personal gallery, and alot of people don't have updated pics there anyway..

With all that being said, this is not a rant just my 2 cents. Sure it got off topic alittle per say, but what thread on here doesn't at some point..
Now back to the cars!!!

 

I just think it's tacky for any of us to throw our own MINI's up in a thread like this. We're biased about our own cars for obvious reasons.

BTW, I dig your cabrio.

 

I just think of it as an online car show. When you enter a show you're putting your baby out there for scrutiny and comment (and maybe an award). But it's the sharing that's the best part. I know there are MINIs here I would not have seen had their owners not posted them here.
