I can't figure out whether the parts are real CF or not. It says CF 'laminated', not sure if this effectively means they're wrapped in CF 'look' vinyl or if it's real. Let me know how you get on!

P.S. Mike at aesthetic creations is working on a set of real CF multifunction covers also and they should be ready for market fairly soon I think, you might want to give him a call to confirm.

Those look like real carbon fiber laminated over plastic (which is exactly what the JCW CF pieces are, so that's not necessarily a bad thing).

It's nice that they're making CF parts that the factory doesn't offer, like the center gauge ring, speaker rings, MFSW trim pieces, and hazard/dimmer trim rings. That gives another option for people that already have several of the JCW pieces, since none of the vinyl-wrapped or faux-paint "carbon look" pieces are a good match for the JCW parts.

Agreed, wish they'd put some prices up on their site as I'd be interested in several of those parts provided they're real CF and not vinyl.

The set of what? Steering wheel inserts? If so that's taking the p1$$ you can get the 3 inserts from MINI for a lot less than that! I think I'll wait for Mike at AC.

I'm aware of that I'm just pointing out the fact that the OEM inserts while not being MF compatible are far cheaper and by virtue of not having big holes cut in the middle of them are comprised of more actual CF! $400 for three little inserts is bloody lunacy and sheer highway robbery. I bet Mike's price won't be anywhere close to that when he brings his pieces to market. I'd wait if I were you.
