Ok, I am seriously a newbie. I have searched and read numerous threads, but I am just not understanding how to remove the headlight rings. I really don't want to break a clip. Can someone please hold my hand and show me exactly how to do this in real simple terms. Thanks.

 

ok, I'm not sure why people aren't responding. I don't know if its because its covered in other threads, which I understand. I just don't understand the headlight rings. I got the taillights, but I'm worried about breaking something. Also, how do you get the chrome gas cap cover off? Again, I appreciate any help. Thanks.

 

The headlight rings are pretty easy to remove, just unclip the SIX black clips with a flat head screwdriver then when removing them just be careful to not scratch your bonnet/hood when removing from it. Hope this helps you enron29

 

Ok, think I finally got the headlight rings. I apologize for my "slowness", but I didn't want to just start prying and break a bunch of pieces. Now can anyone help with the gas tank cover, because I just can't figure that one out. Thanks.

 

So nobody has remove/replaced their chrome gas cap cover on their R56?

 

Ok, can someone tell me how to remove the chrome gas cap cover. I started this thread because I searched and searched and couldn't find anything. I really don't want to paint it while attached to the car, because I am worried about getting paint on the car. Please help.

 

Open the gas door. Look up into the inside and you will see a clip. Insert a small screwdriver to pry the clip away. Not to hard or you will break it. Turn counter clockwise, and be careful not to drop the cap when it spins and lets go. Enjoy!
