I'm thinking about buying a skid plate for my MCS. Does anyone know about how long it takes for the install, and about how much I should expect the dealer to charge?

I would not be buying the skid plate from the dealer. Perhaps Moss or some other after market company.

I've seen someone put the heavy metal plate on in less than 15 minutes. You should just DIY. It's easy!

Do it yourself - takes about 30 minutes. No special skills needed. Tools are pretty minimal and instructions are good on the Moss Mini unit. I did it last December in 10 degree weather.

Or have it done at the neighborhood filling station. They'll be even quicker if they have a hydraulic lift.

Hey thanks for the info. I do have a friend that has a shop and he can help me. I thought it might take more time than ten minutes. Thanks again!
