2 macs here and 5 mac pros at work! i was a PC tech for quite a few years and would watch folks pull their hair out all the time then go home to my Macs . absolutely not one single MS product in this house and proud of it! not even a tiny little app like MSN messenger in this house... nothing.

Yup, I've been using PC's since my first 486 when I was only 4 years old. I made the switch to Mac about 2 years ago and haven't looked back. I've got a 24" iMac and a 15" Macbook Pro.

Forgot to add, I work with PC's every day. They're frustrating! If only companies knew how much time and money they'd save by moving to Mac's.

I just got my first Mac, a MacBook, in February and love it! I like Robin's design with the Apple inside the wings.

Congrats on the successful conversion. And yes, I intend to use that one, once I order the shift **** after I get my exhaust.

Windows has never really given me a problem, but I can see how people can get into trouble with it.

1) You have to go to "Run..." and type in certain commands that make no sense, just in order to make a basic function.
2) People, when using PC's, tend to get "ok" happy, as in they'll just click "ok" on any download and assume they need it to continue using their PC.
3) PINBALL IS ADDICTIVE!

the biggest issue with computers is people assume they are smarter than they are. i would always tell my customers "computers are stupid machines, they're only as smart as the person at the keyboard. you have 500 viruses (PC obviously) because you told your computer that it was o.k to have them" .

good luck on the shift **** and exhaust!

If it's MINI-related, why not?

I record all my purchases for MINI mods in it. Is that good enough?

Tell me about it! My day job's tech guys just bought 1 insanely expensive PC based video editing station for the cost of 3 Final Cut Pro stations. Their reason???

"We will never let more MACs in our building as long as we work here."

WTF?

I think that they are scared they won't have a job if everyone switches over. Stupid PCs are constantly crashing…

After 33 years of working in publishing I bought my first Mac last year. Unbelievable difference. I installed all the software needed to work with my main production job with Addison Wesley, along with a SnapScan.
I am sooo sorry I didn't do this years ago. It is like going from a manual typewriter to warp speed.
It negated the use of overnight delivery services and now I just transfer files and print so I can work late into the night instead of waiting for a delivery truck (that sometimes never comes).
I LOVE my MAC and I LOVE my MINI. Life is good!
