I'd like to make my new MCS look like this:

It looks like this would be do-able. Does anyone know for certain that the grill from a 2008 MC will fit into a 2008 MCS? Does anyone know how much the grill is? Would anyone be interested in trading grills?

I think it can be done but some mods need to be made. I remember some talk about doing it on the MINI2 forum. Do a search there and see if there's any info. If you end up doing it, I might have a grill for you. I changed my chrome out for a JCW.

A nice person on NAM sent me to a detailed thread. I was hoping that it would be a totally straight-forward swap. But the little mods look ok. My MCS is likely to arrive mid May.

So, I'll be interested in pursuing this road perhaps in June/July.

You can trade with an MC owner...there are some MC owners, who want their cars to look like MCS w/ the Black Grill Inserts.
