Interior/Exterior Lol... Invader Body Kit...
This is about 1st gen cars....no JCW aero kit....only the OEM Aero kit (which is definitely a nice clean and simple bodykit
)
I've always liked the Oracle kit, actually - the black fog inserts add a nice touch of contrast, and the shape of the lights is pleasing yet tough. The kit's different for the earlier-model MINI however - not quite as cool-looking if I remember the photos correctly. If someone put a gun to my head and forced me to buy a ground-effects kit, it'd be that one...

I agree the aero kit is nice and clean, but it's also as common as dirt. Good if you're not too adventurous, but it's certainly not pushing the envelope. Of course, not everyone WANTS to push it...

The Hamaan front bumper cover is about all I like other than the Aero.
To me, a body kit HAS to find a relationship with the lines of the car.
Also, the Orciari kit looks better in person, but I think a better one can be done. I'm not a huge fan of how the grill looks like it's melting off the car. That said, I've been around Madness' car and one of our club members cars that has the kit installed and they look far better in person than in pictures.

I could have sworn I saw the Orciari kit on an R56 with those same fog inserts, alongside a 1st gen kit that has slightly different (less agressive) lenses. If the Oracle is a replica though, then perhaps the one I saw was ALSO a replica with slight modifications - I really don't pay all that close attention since I know thay shy of getting in an accident and being FORCED to replace my front bumper, I'm not going to shell out the $$ for proper installation (filling, sanding and pro-level painting).
Either way, I know I've seen a kit on the R56 with those agressive, black fog surrounds - it was on a Japanese tuner site, I remember, and the car was like acid green or eye-watering blue IIRC (as the Japanese are won't to do). Couldn't tell you what it was called though - I can't read kanji or katakana.
They share a great deal of the same design as the Porsche RS bumpers

This would probably be my second choice behind the Hamaan.
The splitter is an extra thing....gotta pay extra for it I believe.
I collect and share different pics of any bodykits I find here:

But, you know, I actually like the simpler one (the Oracle) better - the little accents beside the lower grille area are, IMHO, kind of too much, but I like the black areas around the fog lamps VERY much. Hopefully I'll never munch up the front bumper, but if I do, that's how I'll replace it. Thanks!
PS - I just noticed, but the second picture of the blue cabrio has NO REAR ROLL BARS. I know the A-pillars will hold up the weight of the car from first-hand experience (gah), but removing them is a scary thought (even if it does seem to clean the line up a bit). Weird.

underglow was cool 10 years ago. its pretty lame nowadays and screams "riced honda". while your at it slap a vinyl on the side of a chinese guy in a straw hat eating with chop sticks. oops almost forgot, dont forget the "street Glow" lettering on the front and back window.
It's just a showcar....I doubt it ever really sees the real road. The interior is filled with TV screens and stuff.
The problem with the most of these kits is not just the looks, but the quality. You'll spend double the $$$ you paid for the kit to have it fitted and reinforced. Especially with the Invader kit. Usually sideskirts that come up onto the body have to be molded in.

JDM mini coops!
how about we all get together and watch the fast and the furious?
any takers?

I would have to agree that the only good looking manufactured kit to date is the factory aero kit or GP kit...
