Width of trim tape?

Hello~

I am thinking of de-chroming my R56....I want to de-chrome the belt line and the grill with 3M tapes or Pro-stripe tapes...So i was just wondering if you guys know what width of tape i will need for the beltline and the grill? Thank you!!

5/8ths inch for the beltline

i just got mine from outmotoring for 12 some bucks... and they give you a lil extra in the event that you messed up...

just something to consider...
