I have 4 set up:

and

I ran the "Mini" driving lights through the brights, and have the hella's hooked up to an external switch. I recommend this!

Enjoy!

Does anyone know how a four lamp system will effect how much air gets into the bonnet scoop on an MCS? I've been thinking of eventually going to a 4 light system, but all the sudden the thought about aerodynamics popped into my head, and now i'm not quite sure if it's a good idea on a MCS...

I get plenty of airflow.

I installed a pipercorss, and the openning on the grill is easily accessible to airflow.

I've had no airflow problems on my 4 light bar. I also wired them with an external switch that sets a relay so they come on with the brights. ( Just like the stock setup). It does turn heads tho, especially when they cut me off and its suddenly daylight!

AH reminds me of my youth in the UK when we used to mount a spot light on the rear bumper as a "back up light" Amazing how tailgaters react when they get an eyeful of Super Oscar

Danny, don't come to my neighborhood with those four extra lights, they make my two driving lamps look WEAK! Gotta get me those! I have a MCS, yours is a MC. As above, I wonder about airflow into my scoop.

My biggest issue is the way my badge bar moves.

The way they are bolted through the grill, and the weight of the lights, they bounce. haha. But, the airflow's no problem (I have a pipercross).

The rear fog Light is NEXT... haha.

Happy motoring, and show us Some pictures of your lights!

I have two fogs and two driving lights with Xenon headlights and factory fogs. Any suggestions in wiring. I wanted to put in switches. I'm think about the spaces between the handbrake. Any ideas?

I found out something recently about the relay included in the stock kit. If you happen to be running 4 driving lights through this relay it gets REALLY hot and you end up cooking it. The replacement is 100 fat bills from BMw/Mini and I haven't found an identical replacement aftermarket yet. I did find one at a local electrcians shop and may revamp the works to use it instead. Its rated much higher and should solve the problem.

What happens is they beginto strobe on and off while cruising down the road and then the relay fuses together. Can't turn the damn things off unless you shut off the lights. Bad thing to do at night.

Note: they had been on about 1.5 hrs when it started.

on mine i actually install 2 relays, even the after market unit siad it could handle it with one. I drive in mountain lanes with my 4 lights for 30 min periods without a problem. And yes i did pull over the first few days to check they were ok.
