Pimpedout's wheels

This is off the thread topic, but any info on those wheels - beautiful! I'm looking for my 2001 MCCS, want black & the little bit of chrome on the wheels is perfect. Thanks!!!

they're 18 x 7.5" Konig Hotswaps. I love the style of them, but im looking to get new wheels, becuase i want all black, i dont like the chrome rivet's. im looking for an even more simple 5 star wheel, like the Liquid Metal Static's (id have to get the powdercoated black)

where are you located at? if you were local you could buy them haha

Hotswaps

Thanks for the reply P! I'm in Fresno CA, how bout you? I'm in a pickle about what direction I wanna go with my car (Horizon Blue Clubman S)starting with wheels. There doesn't seem to be a lot pics of my color, & I want to shoot for something different anyway. Your car looks awesome & the reason I liked the wheels on yours is if I go black wheels the rivets pick up just enough chrome to tie in with any other chrome on the car.

haha im on the other side, in florida

i think they would look great on your blue clubman. the chrome does look nice, but for my mini, being nearly all black (still have to black out the grille, handles etc) the chrome sticks out IMO. but with other chrome accents, it would look great. the spokes that come with the rims are actually chrome, i dont have the spokes on in the pics, but you can paint the spokes black, or even blue, etc, or just leave them chrome. i didnt like them chrome though, it was TOO much chrome (even on your car IMO) and they looked ricey. heres a pic of them when i first got them:

Is your windshield tinted or do you just have limo on all the others? Looks dark! I like it. I also like that you're considering new wheels. 5 spokes look nice but I too think the chrome should go.

Nice ride

I guess we're WAY on the other side of each other! Probably cost a lot to ship them. Actually the spokes might look pretty cool painted the HB color of the car. Cool idea - thanks. Yours looked nice with the chrome from the pics, but the blacked out spokes made all the difference.

Everyone says this is an easy install (the outmotoring brackets that is), Is this true? Any drilling?

I had to trim the inside of the grill on my aero kit so that it would clear the mount and then cut holes in the honeycomb so that bracket could go through. Other than that there was no other modifications required.

I'm not sure what its like on a non-aero bumper

That's ridiculous, how have you not gotten busted? It looks great but I would be terrified.

Do you drive at night?
