Mirror Cap

Does anyone know the best way to remove existing interior mirror cap inside the car? I have a cool union jack one to put on and I don't want to damage my existing mirror cap. Any help would be appricated.

Isn't that link for the exterior mirrors? If the Union Jack mirror is the one that the dealer sells it should just stick to the existing rear view mirror that you have. I don't think that anything will need to be removed.
