Heal/Toe Shifting--better pedals?

Does any one else have problem heal/toe shifting their R56 MCS?

The stock pedals are a weird shape and pretty wide apart. You really have to roll your foot to get to the accelerator pedal.

Has anyone found after market pedals, clutch, brake, accelerator, dead pedal that are more rectangular and wider, that would effectively bring the brake and accelerator pedal closer together making it easier to roll your foot from brake to go pedal?

It is a bit tough with the stock pedals. Not as hard as in my Cobra... but not as easy as in the Atom. I found that the extra sensitivity gained by pushing in the sport button helps... but closer pedals would be much better.

I also noticed that you can not brake-boost. It feels as though the ECU cuts throttle when brake is applied. You can blip it really quick... but not for anything over a second or two.

whats brake boost?

Also... would turning off DSC allow you to throttle and brake at the same time?

Brake Boost is the act of applying the brakes to while keeping a steady speed to get the turbo to spool up to maximum boost. While not very useful/needed with a quick spooling turbo that we have, it's kinda fun to play with... if it were able to. It's very helpful in large, laggy turbo'd cars.

I don't have DSC.

I find the pedals on the MCS quite good. No problems in heel-toeing. Maybe its the technique? Everyone's got a different way of doing it.

That said, i find the MCS much easier to heel-toe than the current Japan Spec Honda Civic Type R.

I find it difficult to heal/toe the 08 MCS, but my wife has no problem with it. That being said, we also have different techniques. So what is good for some is not for others i guess. If the GO pedal was a little wider, making it closer, it woudn't have a problem with it. But since its her car i can't really complain haha
