You can get torque specs and bolt specs simply by emailing BBS. They're quick to respond. They can also supply you with the bolts if you just want the stock bolts. You don't want to over torque as that can cause stress on the bolts, the nuts, or the barrel you're screwing into. And obviously you don't want to under torque them....as that could obviously lead to some major problems.

Lots of places supply parts for multi-piece BBS bolts. I got my gold plated bolts from RK importing.

www.justmatz.co.uk has some different choices...

And if these guys can't get you what you need....you're probably out of luck http://www.titanium-touch.de/titaniu...h_index_uk.htm

I called BBS, he said 21 ft/lbs for torque on most of their wheels, but they don't sell the stock bolts anymore for liability reasons I guess. So I guess i'm going aftermarket for the bolts!

Rally, can I ask you how much you spent on brand new bolts? I might get a nice new set enough for all 4 wheels to spruce them up a little as well. How long did it take you to get them in the mail?

I think I paid $180? I don't know about the r90, but if they need nuts, they will be a bit more. Obviously price will vary because I think my wheels also have more bolts than the r90's. So that 180 was for 120 gold plated bolts with no nuts.

I got them from a company that had them in stock here in the US so it only took like a week to get them from CA. I don't think they carry r90 bolts so you will have to look around at the sites i listed.

And 21ft/lbs.....that's what i figured. That's a lot higher than the BBS RS specs. So the OP should probably retorque

That is funny
Those bolts are beauties.
I am thinking some dark blue bolts to accent the wheels when I find some...and having the wheels the factory Anthricite color. I found the Kodiak sheet and am deciding measurements.
What do you think about polished lips+dk blue bolts+anthricite centers?
What about lugs and center cap?

How wide are you going? Please tell me 17x8, 17x9...

Hey guys, I recieved an email from www.titanium-touch.com They think that they have the bolts we need...M7x24.5 in Ti. I am going to double check it when I get my rims...but if any of you guys could measure the bolts that would speed it up...
Hope this helps us all

Nah...they are 2-piece in a different way than mine are. The r90's are setup so that the centers come out rather than the lips. In order to go wider you need a full new barrel/lip to put the center in.

Can you buy just the barrel/lip if they have the correct size to fit the R90 center? That could make it really easy to go wider.

Theoretically, yes, but I don't think the R90 has ever been made for anything besides the MINI so I think it would be next to impossible to find barrel that the R90 just happens to fit in.

Ok, so after my last email with ti touch. I will not be buying the bolts through them...nothing wrong with them by any means, just the exchange rate I knew our $ was in the toilet, but man I would have to pay $213.67 for just 60 bolts shipped(these are Ti plain finish) and it would be $590.18 shipped for color matched...

Now if I can use SS I may still go with them.
I have found their bolts on ebay on the de, nl, and other ebay branches and they are much less$$$

Rally if you have any sources or advise I would love it

Chris.
Same boat, cept I have R98's, I assume it has the same size bolts as R90's. Very funky thread size, least not a common one even for metric.

Did some digging. Re-measured my bolts= M7x1.0x24mm 8mm triple square head (female). Not too un-common after all just not typical.

Found these here; http://yhst-1918367471896.stores.yah...bsrmbolts.html not the same but might work, head is an outie not innie.
