it is a real authenitc M3 kit, wide wheel arches, and a REAL M3 bumper as opposed to the mini rendetion m3 bumper on the aero kit, very interesting...

the wide wheel arches r awesome, i wonder how they did it, it is a single piece, so they prob had to redo the whole body...

well from what i know of wide body cars...u put the wide body on teh car..then u can either mold it in (looks very nice, and OEM, and expensive)..or u can leave it ghetto style with teh bolts

Eh...the wheels aren't that bad. I've seen MUCH worse. You've never been to MY neighborhood. I live in the Bling capital of the world.

I think the red Cooper looks fast sitting still, a ticket waiting to happen, but I like it! I have never been a fan of 4 door sedan 3 series M cars, especially when equipped with an automatic transmission. Of course I guess the automatic transmission has its place, particularly among those who don’t like to downshift and use the engine for braking for fear of undue wear and tear on the clutch and gearbox.

Never said it was an M3, only stated that I didn’t care for 4 door sedan M3’s particularly those equipped with automatic transmissions. The 3 series picture reminded of a M3 due to M style outside rear view mirrors and flaired body work. The current M3 only comes in a coupe and convertible, no more 4 door sedan and no more automatic transmission, only a 6 speed manual gearbox and Sequential Manual Gearbox (SMG).

I really like it...but it looks more at home on the track. Would you really want a daily driver like that? (...listens for resounding "oh yeah" from lots of MCOers) A little more understatement works better where I live. My MINI turns too many heads as it is.

>>Not much apparently. And I said they look bad on the MINI. Shiny chrome wheels dont look good on a MINI period IMO. Thats why MINI doesnt offer them, however BMW does. There is such thing as over modding a car. Like that ridiculous body kit.

That kit is the "True" Widebody kit... It is probably Aluminium Stamped, not for re-sale.
Now others attempt to market their Bolt on "Flares" AKA widened wheel arch plastic trim as "WIDE BODY". Don't fall for that trick... the point of a wide "Body" is to fit in all the good stuff you can't fit in the stock.... such as 9 - 11 inch wide wheels.

I would like to see the Widened fenders on a street mini... I do not care for the front end.

Yes that is the same configuration as the Qvick M3 MINI. Good Eyes Lester!

If an aftermarket manufacturer DID produce this "Style" of Kit, I bet one could expect to drop and easy $2500 - $5000....

I like the application it's used for in the pics... I'd have to be "sold" on a street version.

GoFast!

"resounding 'oh yeah' from lots of MCOers"

I couldn't agree more!

I like the indents on the hood. That adds to the mean look. I think having this body style in red doesn't do justice, it looks much better on th racer...
