I am looking to replace my 140 degree shift **** with a new leather MOMO.
I like the brushed aluminum look more than the black or chrome.
There are so many choices.

Raptor Cantara

Raptor Color

F16 series. Comes in colors as well as different finishes.

This is my favorite.
The Raptor Alcantara

Here is what some look like with a colored shift boot.

Casey, I beleive MOMO has a matching brake lever handle to the bottom one that you prefer. I was looking them up as well. Both about a little over $100 ea.

Nice. Maybe next paycheck, tho.

I saw the round one. There is even one with yellow leather instead of the
perforated area. I thought it would keep the MINI feeling.
But I love the Arches in he Raptor *****. It looks like the door handles
or the console supports.

the only handbrake i've seen that is close to matching it actually a match to the airmetal leather **** - where the bottom half is leather. I would love to get an all metal hand brake as well.

I've seen these for around 85 bucks if you search....most places sell it for 99.

I'm a MOMO fan myself, from your selection...I'd go with the short round air leather on the last pic.

There are like 5 or so habd brakes.
I like aluminum the best. The colored leathre ones look a little cheap.
I'm not a fan of carbon fiber either.

I like the Raptor. I think the silver leather would look great with my space grey cloth interior. That said, I went with this one

Hey Agro, the shift **** you went with, (Raptor) is the size of the ball smaller than the stock Mini shifter? And is that a carbon fiber top?
While I sort of like the stock shift **** its diameter is too large and does make it feel a bit clunky.

Momo ***** are nice. Mine fits very well. Just be aware that the heights vary alot and some are quite a bit taller than the stock ****. Your choice. The selection is quite large. Have fun.

Here is my ****. the **** fits on the shift rod using a rubber cylindrical washer-there are various thicknesses. I picked a fairly thin one but not the thinest. It fits snuggly-so well that no screw was needed.

It isn't hot to the touch on sunny days. Pretty good and I am happy with it.

Yeah, I noticed that after I sent the post, thanks for pointing that out. Do you know if the size of the ball is the same size, larger or smaller than the standard **** on that comes with the Mini?

This one is the closest i've seen to the **** I like...it is the airmetal handbrake - but there is still leather in it - I would prefer it had the two different metal finishes like the airmetal alumunim **** I posted above.

If there is one that matches it better please let me know - i haven't seen it.

Here is the MOMO F16 Carbon I went with, and I love it. Feels right, firm, and not too hot here in the very hot weather !

Oh that last one is really nice.

Here's a similar one I found at Outmotoring.com:

Hey Gabe - actually that design is the old sphere design..they still sell them, but the one i Posted and this one are the 2003 models.

For MOMO stuff I have found
LTB Motorsports to have the best selection. Outmotoring sells that **** for 90 bucks which LTB sells for 75...and even a few others sell it for below 70. Outmotoring prices seem to be signifigantly higher then others for their MOMO products.

I've heard great things about the Whalen and everyone tht has one seems to love it...just seems a bit plain to me...that is why i'm looking at the airmetal aluminum ****...has a bit more design cues in it..but i do agree the whalen does look better then the cheap stock ****.

It seems people prefer the black leather over colored leather.
I really like the raptor still.
I'm not into the Whalen. I agree, just to plain for my style.
That is why I thought about the colored leather **** and shift boot.
But it might be a bit to "CIVIC Tuner" like....ya think?

similar to the designs you have shown i like this one

though I do agree...they are starting to look a bit civic-ish...that is why I like the round *****...some interesting designs with them, and they have more of a classic traditional look to them.

The colored ones would look best if other stuff was colored - for example the gaitors, seat belt pads, etc to sorta make it a theme color without going overboard too much.
