great idea - more dismantling and painting than I wanna do right now. silver coverup is the quick fix - black will come later.

btw, cor blmy - still have any of those yellow "S" decals?

definitely in the future I'll prob redo all the silver in either black or red, but in the meantime, I just want to cover the blemish (it looks like a nasty 2" scratch). i may head to the hobby shop today and see what they have in silver model paint that may blend well unless anyone has other suggestions.

 

went to local hobby shop and bought a small bottle of "aluminum" color model paint - looks to be an exact match for the silver interior pieces. i'll post a before and after pix later
