Interior/Exterior DFIC Scoop Issue

DFIC Scoop Issue
Hey guys,
I am trying to install my DFIC hood scoop...I know its a no brainer but I am noticing that once the scoop is in place I can still see the red center metal tab for the old scoop. Can anyone with this scoop lemme kno if they have the same issue (if you no what I am talking about)? Also, with this scoop in you cant really use that whole plastic shield that went under the hood wit the oem scoop, right?
