Interior/Exterior Front License plate holder
#26
I live in St. Louis, and I do know it isn't quite as strict as IL, but a front plate IS required, at least insomuch as it is visible 30' from the car. I already had holes drilled but I plugged them. I have an Alta bar so the location in general was out. I put the plate in my windshied and haven't had an issue yet in a year. Granted, St. Louis City Police have better things to do, and parking tickets dont reflect license plates here, but even in the Affluent parts of the County where the police screw with EVERYONE, i havent had a problem. Its not beautiful, but it works as a last ditch effort at least here.

i never got pulled over then a meter maid gave me a ticket!!!!!!!!! so i got the ticket dropped down to 1/3rd the price since i told them i had a reason for not having one and the meter maid obviously didnt wait for me to come back to my car to explain. but then I had to put on one. im going to get the mossmini bracket and then fill in the holes somehow.

I dont know how late I am to the party, but there is a company that makes a plate that retracts under the car electronically. so you could have it in view, and with a hit of a button from a keyfob that comes with the plate, it will retract under the car and back out if need be. pretty cool little setup!
