why does the checkered roof graphic from MINI look like it doens't fit quite right? you know what i mean, the contour of it at the front doesn't follow the contour of the roof edges. is it just not fitted/applied properly or is that how it's supposed to be? it's pretty cheap right now, 130 from morristown. i'd like to get it but it looks a bit off

 

Get it aftermarket. You can pick the size of the squares and you can make sure it's installed properly... by anyone you choose, instead of MINI choosing for you.

 

i know the size i want. should i justs walk into a graphics shop that cuts vinyls and ask them to cut for me? what about the corners? i'm assuming they'll conform to the curved corners?

anyone can recommend me a place in the los angeles area?

 

You want someone to cut it for you so you can install it yourself ? That's a tough job.

I took my graphic to a vinyl installer in the area. He cut it as he installed it. It cost me $125 (plus a generous tip), and that was for a full roof graphic with a sunroof. Money well spent.

I'm sure someone can speak of a good graphics installer in your area. That's how I found my installer. You don't want just anybody doing this... find someone who has done MINI roof graphics before.
