Interior/Exterior Stick-on CF mirror caps installation tips?

Stick-on CF mirror caps installation tips?
On my path of putting more Carbon Fiber to the outside of my car, I just got CF mirror caps. They are the stick-on kind.
Anybody have installation tips for those? I'm nervous about putting them on and then not being able to adjust them if I have to because of the strong adhesive on the tape.
Any tips welcomed...
