Are these too big for driving lights

I've been thinking about getting driving lights and I think the Hella dynaview system is really cool. Do you think these:

would be too big for a Mini and would they work with the outmotoring braket?

They are the same size as they Hella FF1000 lights from what I can tell.

Not sure about the bracket but Hella's website lists the dimensions: http://www.hella.com/produktion/Hell...w/DynaView.jsp

Pehaps make a crude carboard model and see how it looks like.

Only appear to be about 1/8" larger than the 500s I'm running.

Yeah, Looks like they're 7 inch diameter which as Motor On pointed out isn't much bigger than the 500's. Just wasn't sure how much difference that little bit would really amount to in this instance. Good idea on the cardboard mock-up. Might have to give that a try.

I'm dying for somebody other than me to try these - been looking at them for a while... though now I've got my 2500's looking good after cutting them down, rubber dipping the back and making custom brackets...

The turning feature is a great idea, al la Citreon (that French car).
They look puny compared to this.
