Removing the Down Tubes

Does anyone have instructions on how to remove the down tubes? I'm replacing mine.

all depends on year model. but usually take out 2 bolts on each side pull up a little on the spedo and work it out if you have 05 or later you have to take the center console out i believe

Check this thread.

Also these instructions at MossMini are for installing a center console organizer. These tell how to remove the down tubes w/o removing the base. Not sure if this works for '05 and up however.
