OEM Fog Lights

I was wondering where one could get a set of OEM fog lights for the R53. If anyone knows it would be appreciated.

PelicanParts.com list them for $400, Outmotoring has them for $389, and Morristown MINI has them for $320. The Morristown site doesn't specifically mention the wiring harnesses and brackets, but according to the part number, all of that will be included.

Oops - sorry about that - mis-read your post. I'd check with your dealer or PelicanParts.com (Although you'll need to go to www.realoem.com to get the part number before you can look it up on PelicanParts.

Best bet is order through Morristown MINI. I ordered a set throught them (lights, wiring harness and all) did the install myself with help of another NAM member then went to the dealer to have it coded. They ask for the VIN too.

There's also a link somewhere with the full install instructions too. (They'll come with the retro kit as well)

Expect 4-5 hours doing the install.

If you do a search you'll find more threads on this subject.

I bought the front fog retrofit kit (part# 63 13 0 395 387) from Classic MINI. It was $120 with NAM discount ($157 retail). You also need to buy a toggle switch panel for the center console with the additional fog switch. The installation instructions are here. It was one of the more difficult projects I've done on the car and took me much longer than 5 hours to install by myself (I was unfamiliar with much of the car and learning to do a lot of things for the first time).
