Corbeau seats, any good?

Their prices seems a bit too good to be true, have anyone had problems with them? i don't want to end up with another pair of 'ebay seat' fiasco that i dealt with last year, soloracer can get me full leather corbeaus for the same price as 1 single recaro speed locally here! is the price really worth it? my tech seems to think so

I think that sounds good. My dad had some Corbeaus in a Mustang and we both liked them. For the money you cannot go wrong, but for my Mini I am going with Sparco Fighter or Corsa, maybe even Evo(2). When I get the money.

i ask this question is the things im reading up on rollbars and hard racing shells in an accident... and well... long story short i don't like what i am hearing...

my friend is convinced that i should get a set of Recaro SRDs off his friend... price is not bad, and im sure those would be killer in the car, just i wonder how much lateral support i'd lose to the sparco rev i got now

I have a set of the SRD's in my MINI now and they have pretty good support all around. The only thing is, is that they rub on the door when it is closed so I now have a little flat spot on the sholder bolster. But I think shifting them to the inside just a little would fix that.

As for the Corbeau, I think that the price is lower because the quality is not as high as a Recaro or Sparco. I don't think that the stitching is as well done on those seats so it may not last as long. But, for their prices you can get them reuphosltered and still save money i bet.

You guys are correct,

the corbeau seats are less expensive because the quality is not as good as the Sparco or Recaro seats.

Also they do not fit as well, very uncomfortable.
