removing rearview mirror

anyone remove the rearview mirror or the sun visors? I will be today so if you have any tips that would help, if not I will post a how to

i've taken out the visors... there's a little triangle cover over the screws. pop it out and the screw is exposed and take it out.

i've seen a little how to on rearview removal but can't find it for some reason...

I was told that the receiver for the keyfob remote lives in the mirror...
Let me know what you find in there.
I also have the auto wiper & lights; the sensor is in front of the mirror.

I started a mess of threads about it last year with my R53...

hahaha uhhhhh yea too bad I didnt check posts until now. I snipped the wires thinking they were just for the auto dimming mirror. now my car doesnt sense my key fob. looks like I got some work cut out for me tommorrow. as for the auto sensor I dont know. will post later

haha thanks for the encouragement. there is a microchip in the mirror housing itself that i am working on getting out and then i have to relocate it somewhere.....
