Might not be so bad if it kept the old front end, the side looks kinda cool. Maybe the model makes the whole thing look better than it really is.

That Smart thing looks like what you see when a Federation shuttlecraft zooms by at warp 8 - some optically squashed blue-shifted thing going on. Except it didn't "unsquish" when it stopped...
