I have a black MC and it just looks too bland. I'm thinking of putting something on the roof and thought of maybe a checkerboard. Anyone have a picture of a car like this so I know what it looks like before I go for it?

I don't remember who's MINI this is but I saved a pic they posted in a thread in case I ever get a tintop because I liked their roof decal a lot

I liked it a lot because the checks were bigger than the norm. If I remember correctly the owner told me they put big black squares on their white roof (or visa versa, not sure)

 

Here's another picture for you. IMO Black with a checked roof looks very nice.

That does look good. I think you just sold me on the checked roof (though I think I may see about getting it like the one bamatt posted with the squares going to the rain rail thing above the windows)

And CHKMINI (I'm assuming that's your car) - it looks nice.
