I believe you need to pull the door panel off. But you can check out this site for an exploded view of the MINI parts.

As I remember it's not an easy job. In fact it might be a nightmare.

Ha! I finally have useful info!

1. Remove the small white reflector on the top corner of the door.

2, Unscrew the 4 torx head bolts on the door.

3. Start at the bottom of the door with something small and plasctic to begin prying the panel off. there will be plastic clips on the sides and bottom and metal hangers at the top. The panel simply pops off

4. The tweeter and door pull are in the same unit, retained by 3 phillips head screws. once they're off remove the wire going to the door pull and the wire to the tweeter.

After that your have the pull and tweeter together, you could further remove the pull itself or mask the rest of it and spray it right there.

wow, now thinking about it i hope you talking about the inner ones...

it's not bad. I did my driver's door and am going back in tomorrow to swap it and the passenger's side for a spare set I painted off the car (when I wasn't in a hurry to get it all back together).

Taking the door panel off is the easy part. The challenging part is getting up inside the outer skin to loosen the two bolts. The window is in the way so you have to squeeze your hand in between it. It helps to drill a pair of holes in the inner skin and putting a light in the bottom of the door to help you see what you are doing.
