I've been searching but haven't found an answer yet - has anyone found a source for Euro spec wheel arches (no sidemarkers) or clear/smoke marker lenses for the R56?

I'm aware of the Lamin-x film, but the film would only make the marker appear smoked - the light would still shine through amber. I'm looking for a solution that would either allow me to have a clear light on the front arch, or no lights all around.

Yes, I'm aware that either solution is against DOT regs, I'm not worried about that. I finally "de-yolked" my blinkers and the amber arch reflector is killing me.

 

If you are not concerned about having the lights....you can always pop the lens out and paint it a satin black finish to match the flares.

 

I've thought of that, but the more I think about it, they really need to be clear or not there at all. Once the arches are painted, smoke or black will not fit in with the rest of my car.

 

contact newministuff.com. they have them for the first gen MINI's and i imagine they can get them for the r56's too.

 

I didn't even know the euro ones didn't have the lighted reflectors... I'd rock them!
