Help!

My new MiniMe is due in any day now. I've been thinking about having the dealer paint the black plastic trim around the wheel wells and doors pepper white to match the car. Any feedback out there?

I have a PW/B and have mixed feelings about it. I think it looks great on every other color, but am just undecided on PW/B. If you have PW/PW, absolutely.

If you have PW/B and decide to go with it, PLEASE post some pics, I would love to see a R56 with them!!!!

Here's a couple that are painted and they look good!

Looking at the examples, my impression is that while it looks good, it loses some if its MINI character. While not worse than stock, I don't think it is enough of an improvement to justify the cost.

Thanks all. They sure do look great don't they? But the cost is high, $1,500 at the dealer.

I wonder if that price includes labor...because that price is actually not too bad, about what we've seen just to get the parts painted. I originally wanted to have this done but the cost keeps me away, and now the trim has grown on me and I rather like it

agranger's R53 has had the trim done. Check his gallery for pictures to see how it looks.
