Now, I know that this subject has been covered but I'm having a hard time finding the wiring in the boot. I have a 2003 Cooper (non S). Anyone already finish what I'm trying to do?

I've seen posts that the wiring's not even there in 2003 models. Can someone clear this up. I don't know what to believe.

This is the sort of thing that 20 minutes of an auto electrician's time might be $$$ well spent if you are not familiar with patching into a wiring harness.

I too have heard varying information as to whether or not the wiring is there for the ciggie lighter. Best thing to do would be to take a look at a 2002 model with the ciggie lighter in back and see if you can match everything up.
