Stupid tire question.
Hi, I currently have the stock 16" wheels (star-liked) and thinking of upgrading to larger ones. I want to know if I have to get new tires as well since I just recently got a new set of 4. Thanks in advance.

Yes if you get bigger wheels you will need bigger tires. 16" wheels need 16" tires, 17" wheels need 17" tires etc...

Awwww that sucks. I just spent $600+ on the tires too. Oh well, I guess I'll have to wait til 2009 when I get another MINI. Thanks for the super quick response.

You could always get the new wheels/tires and post the old set for sale in the marketplace to recoup some of the loss....
