I've got the same dellemma with my '05 HB/W MCS. I just put some 16x7 40+ offset Rota subzero rims on and I think they help. I would have gone with 17's, but the road hear really suck.

I've been thinking about painting the headlight chrome and grill surround (like yours) HB, M7 scoop, M7 or Fireballed! wing, black mirror covers, blacked out beltline, tint and eventually lowering it a bit (i've gotta drive this in the winter, so can't go too low). I've also considered the M7 grills, but I'm still on the fence about how they look.

 

Alternatively, I posted pics of a couple blue/white MCS's that I think look pretty agressive...

I never realized that the FMIC required that much cutting. It doesn't seem like there's anything left on the aero kit...

 

Any color. well any car, can be made to look more aggressive - but you simply can't take the cute out of a Mini, the size and design just make it inherently adorable, it's something I've had to come to terms with

Here is our HB/W fwiw - I love the moods of Hyper Blue, it can be cobalty bright and happy but it also can look very dark indigo and saturated, a great color to bring out the curves in the bonnet, you can make it look as 'aggressivized' as any hue, have fun

 

I also have an EB/W MCS. I do have the white stripes and I think it definately helps. I was thinking that to make it more aggressive is to black everything out; roof, stripes, mirror caps, rims...the whole package. The first pic is the result. The other two are my car as it is currently. Tint helps too

Is it possible to paint the roof black or get a replacement?

 

You can always have blk vinyl installed over the entire white roof - but why do that when the white lid stands out in such a special Mini way and looks great

 

To make it aggressive, get steel rims and use "Batman" angles.
