How hard is it to remove the door handles to paint?

I have most of the chrome on my car removed. My license plate, gas cap, and "S" grill are painted bronze to match my wheels. My headlights have the blue film on them and the belt line is in black. The last thing I need to do in bronze is the door handles. I have heard they are a B*tch to remove, mostly the driver side. Is this true or just one man's opionion?

There is certainly a knack to it. I found the drivers side easier than the passenger side, but removing them was MUCH easier than the reinstall. I couldn't get my hands inside the doors to attach the cables. Wound up haveing to get my wife to do it for me.
Once you take all the door trim off, unhook the cable and let it dangle free, the handle is held on my 2 5mm (I think) allen screws. One of them, you can get to with minor contortionism through the big oval gap in the door.
The other one (closer to the edge of the door) the only way is to use a long, ball ended allen wrench through an access hole that is covered by a rubber seal.
There is a couple of plastic plugs holding the rubber seal (around the base of the window) snug to the door. Remove the plug on the end of the door and fold the rubber out of the way. You'll see the access hole and the screw through it. That screw doesn't have to be completely removed to remove the handle, and I'd suggest only unscrewing as far as you have to.
I bought this allen set for the job.

Hard enough to remove that we charge 222.00 at the dealership to remove them :( Alot of people are buying the union jack & checkered door handles & it's ALOT more $$ to install than the handles are to buy.
