Yep, front to rear. They are directional. Otherwise your feet will wear them. Make sure you align them correctly in the floor or you will get cupping.

These are way cool - I was thinking of getting Luxus, but these are now contenders ( and less $$ ). Might be better at sound deadening given there is a lot of motion and energy under that part of the floor.
The only bad thing is my vehicles are R57s - so they have to be trimmed. Usually I trim the second set to perfection, so maybe buy a practice set !
Are these laser cut to the R56 ( ie like Weathertech ). How thick and heavy are they ?

Same as the Genuine MINI mats in design and slighter thicker then the Genuine MINI all weather mats.
Measured off the Genuine MINI mats
If i remember right the r57 rear matt is shorter in the center part but the same on the shoulders of the rear mat. So fits but longer if that makes sense.

I've never seen genuine mini mats
As my minis were used where the OEM mats were most likely replaced/tossed before I got them.
Your page says "R57 Convertible - rear matts a little bigger front to rear and can be trimmed." So fits - but just longer ( not shorter ).

Sorry , yes shorter is the R57, longer in the center is the R56 design.
