R52 Exhuast Install

Hi All I was not sure if I should start a new thread or mix it with the R53.

decided to start a new one as there are difference between the R53 and R52 underbody due to the stiffening braces which interfere with the exhaust cat back systems. I bought a cat back exhaust that was listed as R52 / R53 compatible but have quickly found out that the y part hits the stiffening braces, which I have tried to lower by adding in spacers to drop it a bit. However the set up still won't clear the mufflers from hitting the body and the heat shield under the battery compartment won't fit either.

After several hours I feel like it's not going to fit at all and need to see alternatives that others have managed to install in their R52 convertibles. If anyone has solutions or recommendations on the exhaust that will work without a whole bunch of mods can you please reply ?

For reference I have the MCS 2005 R52 and was trying to install this exhaust: https://www.ebay.com/itm/223385276068

Also I have tried to reach out to the seller but no response hence need help.

A quick update. I ended up returning the exhaust and opted to buy the more expensive Borla one which is made specifically for the R52. Fits better but still needs some adjustments as there are certain areas where even this is touching the body of the car. Hopefully I can adjust / tighten the bolts to resolve this.
