Mini R53/R50 How to remove your spoiler wing on Cooper S One JCW Cooper Aero 1999-200
So for anyone looking to upgrade/swap out their rear spoiler it can be tricky due to the fact they aren’t just bolted in place, Mini also use a double sided sticky pad which you need to cut through unless your wing has been removed previously. I’ve had to do this numerous times over the years fitting G-wing’s to my various R53’s and each one has had a different variance in how easy due to whether the glue has failed/previous owners removing the factory spoiler etc. This step by step video shows what I did to remove mine so you can see what you may face:
