I have been working on my 2006 R52's convertible top for a few months now. It started when the passenger side latch wouldn't disengage from the top of the windshield. I replaced that part and have since replaced both cassettes and lubricated both rails. However, my sunroof is still stuck open. I believe this is due to the fact that I cannot lock the rear rail into the main rail. The usual hook that has to be levered with a screwdriver is nowhere in site and I cannot manually move the sunroof into the closed position because of this. I have followed the videos posted by @tullid but I still cannot get my sunroof to close, as I cannot find the latch. Below are two images of the same location. My car is the top, notice there is no hook and a car I checked out at the junkyard is in the bottom image, notice the hook.

Is it possible to purchase this part? Am I overlooking something, as I find it difficult to believe that they both failed at the exact same time. Any and all help is appreciated. I've been trying to solve this for a few months now.
