2009 r56 jcw TPMS coding

i had trouble finding any complete info on this so heres how i coded out my tpms system on my wifes 2009 FJCW

im going to assume you have a good k-can cable, laptop, and ncsexpert thats works properly, along with ncs dummy.

plug in the k-can cable, turn on the ignition, open ncs expert, read the KOMB56.C05 module, then open ncs dummy, choose correct module and trace file, then change value for alive monitoring for tire pressure control(RDC_ALIVE) to nicht activ, export the new file. write the new trace file back to the module with ncse, clear the codes with inpa again, turn off ignition, pull tpms fuse, test drive.

bingo, no more tpms light flashing for a short distance then on constant.

if i did not do it in exactly this way, steps in order, the light would come back after about a mile of driving.

hopefully it might work for you if you are having trouble with it
