Well, the 15% pulley is a great mod if you have a R53 /supercharger! You have an R56 therefore no supercharger, the pully kits are not applicable in your situ! Sorry....

No it was not a joke. I thought I saw a reference to a reduction pulley for an R56 but on closer examination you are right. Those references were to Gen 2 minis but not a hatchback. Sorry if this has caused consternation on the board. I will try to remove the post.

I bet many folks have wondered about putting a pulley on a gen2....
So a useful post for many....
For every 1 person that asks....
5 might do research......
There is some confusion....
The cabrio was built as a gen1 till 2008 with a supercharger..... So confusion is common.

Thanks for letting me know that maybe I wasn't the only one to wonder. I have removed the question but I could find no option for removing the entire post. If you think the question might be helpful to someone else I will try to have it put back on.
