Replacing Front Side Marker/Parking Light Bulb (NOT Side Scuttle)

I had to replace a burnt-out light bulb in the side marker/parking light bulb on the front side of the front passenger fender (see photo). I'll post a separate thread in the how-to detailing the process. There were a couple posts on here regarding that, but none of them were clear to me

Stay tuned!

Has any one removed the rear grids, L&R located to the outer sides of the rear bumper.
Looking to paint them with the rest of the countryman's trim...Thanks

Just bought a 2012 MINI Cooper S Countryman ALL 4 about a month ago, but only just discovered there appears to be no backing up or reverse lights. Is this by design or am I missing where to check why the backup lights arent working? Any googling on this gives me a lot on fog lights, but I am talking about the white lights you normally see when someone is backing up.

Thanks in advance guys!

It's integrated into the rear light cluster.

Have you stood behind the car (with some else in it) with the car in reverse?

Yup, Hubby was standing outside the car and warned me to be extra careful when backing up cuz while I have lights back there, I dont have back up lights that go on as I put the car in reverse. :(

Help with service mode

Hey all, I have a 2012 R60 S ALL4 and I need to replace my turbo and oil filter housing gasket set.
My biggest problem is that I have searched everywhere and cannot find how to put the car into service mode or how difficult it is to do. I would like to do the work without having to take the front end apart, but if I need the room, I want to know how to do it before I start. I can’t even find how to do it on an R56

I have been reading everything I can get my hands on, and you tube has some good stuff too. Just watched the guy from mini mania get the turbo changed on their JCW coupe, not exactly the same but close enough for me to have a really good idea of what I’m in for. At least I’m feeling pretty good about the turbo I’m probably going to get. They used one from JMTC in the video and seemed real happy with it, so there’s that at least, lol.
Im just waiting to hear back from JMTC on the fitting of it in the car. Mostly because I need to know if I need to change anything going from the 37mm compressor to the 40mm JCW one.
