READ BEFORE POSTING:: How to forum

Welcome to the How to forum for 2nd Generation MINIs! This is a place where you can post a new thread teaching other MINI owners how to preform a modification, repair or maintenance procedure for their MINI.

If there's something that you don't see a thread for in the How To forum, please post a request for it in the request thread so others can check it and make it if possible. Do not start a new thread asking for a how to for something, so that when people see a thread with a particular subject they'll know that it will contain directions from the get go.

A
ll new threads in this forum do require moderator approval before the display in the forum.

When naming a new thread, please start the title by indicating the type of modification (Drivetrain MC, Drivetrain MCS, Interior, Exterior, Nav/Audio, Electrical, Etc.) then a description of the procedure to be explained.

To start things off a number of previously written how tos have been imported from the other modification forums, if you happen to come across one that has not yet been moved, that you feel would be appropriate please use the post report feature at the beginning of the thread, so this resource can continue to grow.

Cool Rim and tire replacement

Has anyone ever had trouble replacing the tire rims? I took my new rims and tires to a tire place and they where afraid to touch it because of the sensor...
