Pics of the MINI Meet @ Kapolei
Kohu'ulaMINI-
Thanks for taking the pics. Gotta plan to go to a realy scenic site and line up the minis with a gorgeous background around sunset and with the sun to the camera's back (increases the warm colors). Also having a tall ladder to take an aerial shot helps to also view the back row minis better. What if we line up all the minis at the movie theater for the Italian Job premiere. Reserve a section or get permission to park in a certain special area -to promote the movie.
Did you notice all the attention we were starting to get from the public?- Mostly pass by traffic and the people gtherng off of the bus.

What a fun time! I was really happy to see all the folks out there with their Minis. Had a blast at the Spring Fling, then a great time meeting other Mini folks at the Zippys, and a good desert to boot!
Andy's kit for the next all day event:
1. Sunscreen.
2. Bigger Hat.
I'll look through my pictures and get 'em posted today. Most likely what I'll do is thumbnail 'em and lob the whole lot into a directory over at the MiniClub website and then post a link here.
(edit) Just looked through the pictures - got some that really turned out good! Lots of great shots of the Minis on the track, too.
Once again - man it was GREAT meetin' all of you. Proved me right that 99.99% of all Mini people are just too cool!

Definitely a tall ladder on the next aerial shot since I am "vertically challenged"
I'll be leaving to the mainland in a few days but will be checking on MCO on the progress of the Italian Job premiere.
It's been real exciting meeting everyone and hope to have more "socials" in the future. Yes, MINI/Mini people are too cool

Saturday was a truly fine Mini day. Watching Minis on the track and then getting together with everyone was really special. I know Lois and Gary from St. Louis had a wonderful time too. Thanks to everyone for showing up and it was so great to see Andy's Mini.
I'm going to the mainland Thurs. nite and will be in Mini-withdrawal until the 19th
. Unfortunately, the nearest Mini dealer to my friend's house is Universal City Mini, one of the least popular dealers. But they did give me a Mini pin last time I was in there.
I will see what I can pry out of Paramount for our IJ premiere.
It was so great to meet all of you!
