What does one call a large bunch of Minis????

When the shipping 'slowdown' finall broke loose some weeks ago, there was a flood of Minis and Mini of Hawaii stored them down the street. Here are a few pics:






Judy said almost all of the 51 Minis that came in all at once were already sold, so I hope some new parents can find their Mini in this photo. There were six VR/VRs on the lot, and none of them was MINIhune! I got these shots when most were still there. They disappeared very rapidly as MofH hired another guy to prep them on Sundays and sent a bunch out to be preped.

It breaks my heart to see a "medley of MINIs" all caged up like that.
I drove around that lot several times but my MINIhune was nowhere to be found(she was still in a sealed container at the docks). I was even tempted to open the gate and let the MINIs go free to their owners


Well, that's 51 more MINIs on the island, I hope to see many MINI "cousins" Motoring about.

Are they all for Ouahu owners, or does that dealership also ship some to the other islands?

Actually, it is possible that quite a few of our MINIs are in that picture. Hard to say which one is which though without some sort of distinctive marking.
These days the inventory is pretty low and demand still quite high. Currently the MCS is flavor of the month with a 5 month wait on an order and none in stock.
Compared to last February it was 6 months wait back then.

So, take a good look and see if you can spot your MINI. I remember going to that lot to spy on what was in stock. I passed by it a few days ago and it was a tall grass savannah. Too much rain recently I guess.

HunterBoss - those are velvet red MINIs.

I don't see Lucy in those pics, but according to my MA, she had just gotten off the boat in late June when I purchased her. She was still quite dirty and hadn't had her wiring changed for U.S. specs (the MA said something to that effect, anyway ... does something have to be disconnected for a MINI to be legal in the U.S., or is it just Hawaii?).

i don't see any sg/b, ie. silk green/black mc.

i'm pretty sure i p/u my first mini in march '03 sometime. so it shoulda been on that lot somewhere. in fact, i believe judy even told me that i could take a sneak peek thru the chain link fence at my new mini. which i did. and i did see a few sg with either white or black roof. just not sure if this is a pic of the same lot at about the same time.
