MINI rental in Hawaii

Does anyone have any updates for those wanting to rent a MINI while on vacation in Hawaii?

I get asked about this via email all the time.

How much, where and which rental company?

Minihune, did you find any information on this? I was at the airport today and saw something in a Japanese tourist magazine. http://www.max-rental.com These guys rent MINIs - a picture in their ad shows a MCS but not sure which model they rent. Could be pricey because they are targeting Japanese tourist.

Thanks for the lead on this.

So far not much luck finding a source for a rental MINI.

The rental agent/manager said he used to have a rental MC about $100 a day and he sold it a few months ago. Maybe he will get a convertible MC next- he said it depends on the price.
