Does anyone know when the 06's come out? im about to order an MCS, but i was wondering when the newest ones come out.

 

Typically, the model year production for BMW and MINIs start in September. However, there are instances where the MY started earlier. 04 BMW 3 series were released in June of 03, and I think the 05 MINIs started a little early, or was it the 04s?

 

Each year the new MINIs are made from Sept but you can start standing in line to order them about July or August. In Hawaii you'd need to contact your MA and get your name down for the sept build.

Typically, depending on demand you have to plan a bit ahead to get the timing right. It is true that if you order now in April then wait about 2 or 3 months before the MINI gets built and another 6 to 8 weeks for delivery it will be about July or August before you get it. However if you order a MINI built in Sept it might be about November before you get it delivered!

 

Well i really dont have a major preference on which year I get, however it would be nice to get the latest and greatest. Im ordering mine next week, so what ever happens, happens

Yup, I found this out as well this weekend. It's that time of year. MCS is selling strong now. Figure about 4+ month wait time from now at least.

Only a few in stock. At least one was an automatic MCS.
