Friend ordered MINI Cabrio

Talked to one of my friends today and he told me he finally decided to order the MINI Cabrio. I told him about the car when I saw it in Cali in August and gave him pics of the car. I'm not sure what color he ordered, but he said he didn't order the orange one. He ordered it from Randy as he could not get in touch with Justin. Randy, take care of him.

If I see a Cabrio on the road I'm gonna....

Honk!

And wave
Thumbs up!

Hey I already saw a new yellow Chevy SSR pickup speeding to Wahiawa yesterday.

The 2005 Chevy SSR is powered by the newest version of Chevy's small-block V-8, the 6.0L LS2 with 390 horsepower and 405 lb.-ft torque. A 4-speed automatic is standard, but you can choose to replace it with a six-speed manual transmission (which you might have seen in the Chevy Corvette).

Bring on the MINI cabrio already.

Talked to him again today and he ordered vanity plates for his car. I have no idea how he got this past the DMV guys, but he's been approved for KSMY-S. He told them the S stood for the MINI Cooper "S" that he's getting!

I joked with him that there was a recall on the car and that it would delay his delivery by 2 months. His jaw just dropped! I told him there's a recall because of a loose nut behind the wheel. He didn't catch my joke. He did tell me that on his test drive there was a problem with the convertible mechanism. I told him don't worry, there's a 4 year bumper to bumper warranty on the car.

Vanity Plate

That is a GREAT vanity plate! I love it! I ordered mine about a month or so ago. Takes the folks at DMV about 2-3 months to cough them up.

Aloha!
