Cosmetic/Non-performance upgrades you've done

Or plan on doing? Looking for ideas, I have several I am looking into but at the Cabrio release I saw alot of neat things and looking for a list of what has been done out here in Hawaii. (Include new rims/tires, just because while they are for performance it is also looks)

Done
Mini-Antenna
De-badging
Removed cup holder

Planed on
White Scoop Air Intake
Tinting 50%
Clear Bra
New brake pads (If you have white tires you know this isn't a performance mod  )
White Decal on Sunroof

Possible or Later
New Rims/Tires (Also white)
Rally Lights
Trim along the bottom painted BEP
Strips on the Boot
and some 20" spinners just for kicks

Tint rating start at 50 then 35, 15, 5

35 and 50 are legal on passenger cars 15 is legal on the rear of vans, SUV and 5% is limo tint. Don't really want to block out the view of my interior just lower the heat and damage from the sun to the interior.

Oops forgot about the glovebox organizer, was planning on that one.

side light markers-loose the "S" hmm debadge it even more, have to think about that one

Sorry. OK, less tint darkness. That's fine but 35% isn't that dark for daily use and even for driving at night.

Outmotoring.com has lots of exterior mods at their site including this one-

just a warning...as i have white asa-lw5 wheels and painted trim. make sure your white wheels are a style that is easy to clean. problem with mine is that there is a ledge all around that forms sharp corners with each of the spokes, which for me is ~10. multiply this by 2 cause there's 2 corners per spoke gives 20. so there's 20 corners that i need to carefully squeeze my finger or edge of a sponge to clean out. otherwise, just wiping with a sponge is not gonna get those corners sparkly white. basically, for me 1/2 the job is washing and wiping down, the other 1/2 is washing and wiping the wheels. i kid you not when i say that it takes me ~50-60 min. to wash my mini, with close to 1/2 hour to wash the wheels themselves.

with newly painted trim, you're gonna wanna clear bra those pieces immediately. kinda like wanting to clear bra your mini before going on the highways. except the trim pieces are even more prone to chips due to the proximity to the ground. luckily, if the shop does it right, the paint is actually more resistant to chipping than the rest of your mini. but still, it will eventually chip and scratch. i had my freshly painted trim clear bra'd the day after by an independent installer. unfortunately, he is very difficult to get a hold of as he does other business ventures also. and i believe tnt tinting, the most available installer, will not work on non-oem paint jobs.

in fact, for this very reason, if i do get another mini, i probably won't get my trim painted. and i likely will be getting silver wheels that are much easier to clean, eg. panasports or minilites.

but i gotta admit the white wheels, when clean, along with the painted trim will make your mini sharp-looking.

You could always try wheel wax to keep the dust and grime off your wheels. Also, I've heard P21s works good at cleaning off your rims. Just spray, hose down and wipe!
