Nice day for a few track sessions. We got three MINIs out there to play.
Pretty nice time. Got to use those nice skills from Spring Fling on the short course.

Great driving there bgrpph and Erik808. Impressive showing.

I was working on my smoothness and balance and trying not to kill my Yokohamas in the process.
I'm saving the Kumho victoracers for autocross next week. They are darn good tires- much better than my street tires.

You should have run the Kumhos today as they should last you a whole season and a little bit more. Plus, that's the kind of stuff the Victoracers are made for! Did Panos bring his black Miata, the same one he drove at Spring Fling? Did you know he drives that car on the V700s from Kapahulu?

I think next time I might bring the Victoracers for the extra grip.
Panos had his silver Miata with rollbar and Kumho V700s. How many Miatas does he have? 3 or more? I thought I saw him driving a white miata at autocross.

I felt like I could have used more grip coming out of the turns as I was loosing my line a little with my tires so I held back on the power. Many of the others did run Kumhos with good results.

==>bgrpph got to see me spin out right in front of him coming out of the Sweeper and I got to see him go off the track right in front of me after passing me on the turn after the Passing Zone. [I passed him at that moment then he passed me again soon thereafter.]
