What dates are you in Hawaii?
What do you like to do?
Hiking? Go hike up to the top of Diamond Head- great view!
Snorkeling? Go to Hanauma Bay on the east side of Honolulu's south shore
Like good views? Go to the top of Tantalus/Round Top
Like History? Go to the Arizona Memorial and USS Missouri at Pearl Harbor.
Like the beach? Try Ala Moana Beach Park and Magic Island
Like shopping? Try Ala Moana Shopping Center
Like driving? Try renting a car and drive around the island heading along the south and heading east then north.
Like MINIs? Try going to MINI of Hawaii (they have T shirts) at 777 Kapiolani Blvd near Ward Avenue (Blaisdell Arena).
Like challenges? Try surfing (rental) off of Waikiki.
Like something completely different? Try one of the neighbor islands.

lucky lucky you...that's a prime vacationing spot. i'd hafta agree though, don't forget about the outer islands...they all have their own specific charms, tastes, sights, people, etc.
don't forget the professional surfing tour is coming thru oahu right about now. if you haven't already, i promise that viewing truly big surf in person while standing on the beach is an awe-inspiring feeling. just that the crowds to get to the north shore is quite a headache. but stop by the choice eating spots on your way thru, and it'll make it all good.
